Elizabeth A. Lacey MSW RSW is a Registered Social Worker and the owner of Oakridge Counselling. She has a Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Bachelors Degree in Social Work (BSW) from the University of Waterloo, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree with a major in Social Development Studies, also from the University of Waterloo and certificates in general social work and child abuse from Renison College. Elizabeth received her Certification at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine's Mindfulness-Based Group Practice through the Mount Sinai Psychotherapy Institute (MSPI). Elizabeth received the Sheldon Rahn award of ethics and was the Valedictorian in her BSW year. She is a member of the Ontario and Canadian Associations of Social Work (OASW & CASW), and is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). Elizabeth has studied extensively in mindfulness meditation practices, mind-body therapies, marriage and family therapy, separation, divorce and blended families.
